Hi, and welcome to CMatson Photography! I’m Cheyenne Matson, originally from Burlington, WI. I recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater with a degree in Special Education. While I’ve always had a passion for helping others, I also discovered a deep love for capturing meaningful moments through photography.

My journey began at a young age when I first picked up a camera, and I’ve been growing ever since. Art has always played a major role in shaping who I am, and that influence shines through in my work. I’m a self-taught photographer who began taking photography seriously in the early years of high school—starting with photos of friends and learning how to edit and master the camera on my own.

Since then, I’ve expanded my portfolio to include sports photography, senior portraits, engagement sessions, weddings and more. I’m proud of how far I’ve come, and I’m excited to continue growing and sharing my passion with others through CMatson Photography!
